Nagalase and GcMaf

Nagalase and GcMAF are big buzz words in the alternative cancer treatment field these days. To help simplify and educate, I put together this quick explanation of how these two relate to cancer.

Cancer is a metabolic disease. It can camouflage itself from the immune system.

Cancer cells enter in to a metabolic state of hypoxia, which is a lack of oxygen.  They can thrive in a low oxygen environment whereas normal cells cannot. This starts a “fermentation” process. Cancer cells exude an enzyme from the fermentation process called alpha-N-acetylgalactosaminidase or Nagalase for short.

Remember, the more cancer cells there are, the higher the fermentation process is. This results in high levels of Nagalase.

In an effort to survive detection from the immune system and multiply, cancer cells, in their evolution, have developed the production of Nagalase as a protective “cloaking” enzyme.  This enzyme has the ability to completely shut down the activity of the localized immune macrophage cells, whose job it is to destroy any cell that has been harmed or is not functioning normally.

With the macrophage cells immobilized, the tumor is effectively invisible to detection by the immune system. This is the reason that someone can have a strong functioning immune system and still be growing a tumor. You cannot attack what you cannot detect.

 “How”, you ask, “Can someone get the Macrophage cells turned back on?”

GcMAF is naturally made within the body but in the presence of Nagalase producing cancer cells, it gets diminished. Since your body’s natural store of GcMAF only lives for about a week in the body, without continuous conversion of the GcProtein process, GcMAF becomes depleted rapidly due to ongoing production of the enzyme Nagalase. What is needed at this point, is an external source of GcMAF to keep the Macrophage cell activity against the cancer cells optimal.

Important to note:

Nagalase can only destroy your body’s natural production of GcProtein but not the external source of GcMAF. This is why this therapy needs to be part of an overall protocol to isolate and eliminate cancer growth.

* There is an additional caveat to keep in mind, however. If the body is deficient in Vitamin D, this therapy cannot work. To some, it is a surprise to discover their Vit. D levels are so low. There is an easy Vit. D oral supplement available to help boost deficiency. Testing is available to measure and monitor the appropriate level.

GcMAF was discovered and proven in Philadelphia, PA in the late 90’s.

GcMAF is available both orally and IV.

At Reno Integrative Medical Center, in Reno Nevada, they offer both the Nagalase test as well as GcMAF therapy.

The Nagalase blood test is also a good way to check the progress of treatment.
